Meet Dr. Samuel D. Kang

Samuel D. Kang, DMD is a proud Chicago native who earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a three-year advanced prosthodontics residency at UIC, specializing in esthetics, full-mouth reconstruction, digital dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Kang then pursued an additional year as an Implant Fellow with the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, sponsored by Dentsply Sirona. During this time, he taught students and residents prosthetic considerations in implant dentistry while honing his expertise in complex implant procedures.

As a surgically trained prosthodontist, Dr. Kang provides both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry, allowing him to deliver comprehensive care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes. He is passionate about staying at the forefront of his field, participating in organizations like the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Kang is an active leader of the Spear Dental Study Club and the International Team for Implantology. He also shares his knowledge as a speaker for the Straumann Group. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. On weekends, they often explore Chicago’s neighborhoods, try new activities, and keep the kids entertained with fun family adventures.
